Harry J Clement, age 92, passed away February 12, 2018 at Angel Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin after a brief illness. He was born August 8, 1925 in Middleburg, The Netherlands, Europe to Henry and Albertine Clement. He married Connie Bayer on January 17, 1951. They Immigrated to the United States on December 10, 1953. Harry lived in many cities in Wisconsin and spent his last years in Elkhorn. Harry was employed by Wisconsin Power and Light Company. He ended his 32-year career as Manager in the City of Delavan. He was very active in the communities he in which he lived. He was a past President of Kiwanis Clubs in Delavan and Omro. He was elected to the School Board in Omro and Delavan. Many other organization had Harry's help on their boards and with their community endeavors. Harry is survived by his son Henry (Deanna) of Beloit. Four daughters Tina (John) Litjens of St. Cloud, FL, Anna (Mark) Wheeler of New Berlin, WI, Jo (Pete) Malm of Indianapolis, IN, and Karen (Mark) Shaw of Dallas, TX, one daughter-in-law Carol Clement of Platteville, WI. Fifteen grandchildren: Paul Litjens, Eric Litjens, Jackie (Matt) Hensgen, Cate (Dusten) Slater, Nathan (Pearl) Clement, Matthew (Ashley) Wheeler, P.J. (Julia) Malm, Cora (Jon) Wolfarth, Maria Malm, Lori (Charlie) Shaw, Jana Shaw, Ryan Shaw, Annaka (Andy) Clement, Emily (Sean) Clement, Eleanor Clement. Seven great grandchildren, Theo and Oliver Hensgen, Sophie and Keira Slater, Jackson and Stella Malm, Harrison Wolfarth. Two sisters, Albertine van Wijk-Clement and Kitty Bosch-Clement. And many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law including Josephine and Cor Noordover and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 66 years, Connie in May of 2016, a son, Jacob Clement and a daughter-in-law, Sue Clement, two brothers Richard Clement and Jake Clement and numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Services will be at noon Saturday at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Delavan. Visitation will be from 10 a. m. until the time of service at the church. Betzer Funeral Home, Delavan is assisting the Family. The family would like to thank Aurora Summit Hospital and Angel Grace Hospice both of Oconomowoc.
