Harry Waugh Lauder

Harry Lauder, 58, passed away on September 23rd, 2017, of natural causes in his home. Harry was born September 2nd, 1959 in Aurora, Illinois and was a lifelong resident of Illinois and Wisconsin. He worked many jobs and was skilled in many trades, including ironwork, maintenance, and hotel management. He will be remembered as a good friend, loving father, and caring son. Harry loved the Green Bay Packers, the outdoors, adventure, and a vast array of music. When asked how he wanted to be remembered, Harry's words were: "I may have made many mistakes, but that never kept me from loving all of my family, kids, grandkids, and friends… And please forgive me". He is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Goebel Lauder, and father, John Wallace Lauder Sr. His sisters Candy McDonald and Sue England both left our world before Harry. All are greatly missed. He is survived by his children: Melanie (Attilah) Shaw, Jackie Lauder, Bailey Lauder, Braden Lauder, and Blake Lauder. He leaves behind his grandchildren: Jordan Lee, Jade Lee and Willonte Campbell Williams. He has surviving siblings: Heather (Daniel) Johnson, John (Sue) Lauder, and Bob (Carli) Lauder, as well as many nieces and nephews: Karl and Mike McDonald, Lewis England, Luke Lauder, Andrea Lauder, Jessica Higgins, Katie Johnson, Shawn Johnson, and Greg Launel. He will one day be reunited with his family, as well as his special friend Barb Stang.He was also uncle and Godfather to Mario Macalik Services are scheduled for Sunday, October 15th. Visitation will be from 1 to 3pm with a memorial service at 3pm led by Pastor Larry Hansen at the Betzer Funeral Home, 118 S. 2nd.
