Herta Schulte 96, Lake Geneva, died Thursday Feb. 2, 2017 at the Arbor Willage Care Facility, Lake Geneva. Herta was born Dec. 17, 1920 in Wanne, Germany, the daughter of Herrman & Anna Salewski Schweika. United in marriage to Reinhold Schulte, March of 1940 in Germany, and he preceded her in death May 1, 1993. Member of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lake Geneva, Sang in the Church Choir, also sang in the Northern Trust Bank Choir, and the Oratorio Choir in Elkhorn, Wi. Sang in the Luther Memorial Church Choir in Chicago, Il. Member of the Womens Auxillary of the Rheinischer Gesang Verein of Chicago, I1. Surviving is a son Dieter (Diane) Schulte of Chicago, Il, Grandchildren David (Alley) Wan Northwick and Christine (Christopher) Shaw, Great Grandchildren, Isabel & Talulah Schulte, and Rachael & Thomas Shaw. Preceded in death by her parents, a son Hartmut Schulte and a brother Guenter Schweika. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday Feb. 11, 2017 at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Pastor Martha Butzier officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Visitation will be held one hour prior to time of services.
