Howard J. Basso, 88 of Elkhorn and Formerly of Lake Geneva. Passed to eternal life Thursday May 4, 2017 at Lakeland Medical Center, Elkhorn. Howard was born in Lake Geneva to the Late Fred and Augusta (Brown). Howard was a retired foreman for American Motors. Howard was a loving husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa. Survived by is devoted wife Louise (Palmbach). Loving children Beverly (Roger) Weber, Howard Jr. (Kris), Steven (Patricia) and Laura (Daniel) Heidelmeier. Proud grandpa to Kathy (Glenn) Hanson, Josh, Adam (Iona), Brandon and Kali Basso, Brad Garecht, Kristin (Brad) Schroeder and Janel, Jason and Lisa Heidelmeier. Great Grandpa to Skhyler, David, Nolan, Beaux, Tatum, Kendall, Jailyn and Taiya. Preceded in death by his grandson David Weber, parents, brothers and sisters. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
