Ida F. Lavin age 106, Lake Geneva died Friday Sept, 25th 2015 at the Geneva Lake Manor Nursing Home, Lake Geneva WI. Ida was born Feb. 5th, 1909 in Springfield WI. The daughter of Herman & Daisy Babcock Kutz. United in marriage to Robert C. Lavin June 27th, 1936 in Chicago, IL. And he preceded her in death on August 21st, 1992. She was a member of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Widows Club, Lake Geneva Seniors, and Women's Club. She was also a volunteer for the Lake Geneva Nutrition Center. She was employed as Production Supervisor at Chaney Instrument Co. for 30 years retiring in 1977. Surviving is a Son Ronald C. Lavin Sr. Lake Geneva, 3 Grandchildren, Vicki (Kevin) Corkhill, Brenda Gamache, and Ronald C. (Lisa) Lavin II. 5 Great Grandchildren, Melissa (Mark) Skala, Jessica Clapper, Katelyn & Benjamin Gamache and Ian Corkhill. 4 Great Great Grandchildren, Jarek Kraayvanger, Maci, Marli, and Marshall Skala. Several Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Alice Stephan, Marie Gamo, Ann Crisman, and Helene Nelson. Brothers Robert Kutz and Step-Brother Adolph Kaempher. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday Sept. 30th 2015 at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lake Geneva with Pastor Mary Ann Moller-Gunderson officiating. Burial will be at the Hudson Cemetery, Lyons, WI. Visitation will be at the Steinke Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
