Isabel Ramen Rodriguez

---------- Isabel Elodia (Ramen) Rodriguez of Poplar Grove was called home August 12, 2018. Born November 7, 1952 in Encinal, Texas, Isabel is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Elias; sons Rogelio (Roy) and Jose (Joe); grandchildren Cody, Antonio, Jose, Gabriella, Tanner, and Isabella; brothers Rafa, Fefi, and Alfredo; sisters Leandra and Rafaela. A long time resident of Belvidere and breast cancer survivor, Isabel was a gracious soul, smiling upon greeting you and delivering the world's best hugs. Isabel appreciated all things purple. Deeply rooted in her family's beginnings in Texas, Isabel wore and adorned her house to showcase that lineage. While the sun has set on her time here with us, the memory of her laughter and loving ways will be carried on through her sons and grandchildren, as she imparted that spirit to them, her most cherished treasures. ---------- Funeral Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30am Monday at St. Andrews Catholic Church with the Rev. John Rafael Valega officiating. Burial will follow in church Cemetery next to Isabel's family. Friends may call Sunday from 3 to 6pm at the Betzer Funeral Home in Delavan where a prayer service will be at 6pm. Also one hour prior to services at church the casket will be open for friends and family. All are welcome to the American Legion Post 95 across the street from Betzer Funeral Home following the burial for fellowship and lunch. Betzer Funeral Home is serving the Rodriguez Family.
