Ismale 'Smiley' Vasquez

Delavan, Wi- Ismale "Smiley" Vasquez, age 59, of Delavan, WI, died on Sunday, August 6, 2017, at Mercy Hospital, Janesville after having a major heart attack. Smiley was born January 11, 1958, In Texas to Carmela and the late Reynaldo Vasquez. Smiley was an incredible friend, beloved family man and above all else an amazing father to his two daughters Chelsea and Melissa Vasquez and the best Grandfather to Giovanni, Javion and Dominic, the boys he never had. Smiley enjoyed the simple things in life. As a self taught carpenter you would find him working in his garage making any and everything. He loved to cook, he was everyone's go-to menudo man and a loyal Chicago Bears fan. Smiley also loved to be surrounded by family and friends sharing a cold one and having a night filled with fun and laughter. Survived by his mother Carmela Vasquez. His two daughters Chelsea and Melissa Vasquez. Three Grandchildren Giovanni, Javion and Dominic. Sisters Mary(Odilon)Perez, Ester(Wayne)David, Estella(Roberto)Huerta, Sonja Vasquez, Carmen Valdes. Brothers Abel Vasquez, Abelardo Vasquez. His one niece and fifteen nephews along with great nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by his father Reynaldo Vasquez, nephew Antonio Vasquez and nephew Marc Coulson. Funeral services will be 10am on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at St. Andrews Catholic Church with the Rev. William Key officiating.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
