Ivan E. Lutcher

Ivan E. Lutcher, 49, of Janesville, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 10, 2024.

Ivan was born on September 30, 1974, in Illinois.

He is survived by his daughters, Abagail, Avrie, and Alora Lutcher; mother Le-Eunice D. L’Minggio; siblings Elinor (David) L’Minggio Gresham, Elijah L’Minggio, and Michael Lutcher; uncles Edwin Arthur Lutcher and Hardy Lutcher; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and countless friends. He will be dearly missed by many.

Ivan was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunt, Rosa Lutcher, and his cousin Keith Venable.

Optimistic, big-hearted, and caring, Ivan was a man who was always happy to lend a hand and see the best in people. He was full of life and lived each day as such. Ivan was an accomplished DJ, performing all over the Janesville area at weddings, birthdays, and other parties. He loved music and found joy in sharing his talents with others. Not only a musician, Ivan was also a natural when it came to computers- he could build, repair, or troubleshoot, and was happy to engage his services free of charge. A major foodie, Ivan’s favorites (if he had to choose) were Polish sausages from Chicago, or White Castle. Before his passing, Ivan fought an uphill battle for custody of his youngest daughter, a dream that was incredibly close to being realized- Ivan was taken from his family and friends too soon.

A private family viewing will be held at the funeral home, with a celebration of Ivan’s life to take place later this year.
