James D. Adams

Dr. James D. Adams, D.V.M, age 55, of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, passed away on November 17, 2023, in Libertyville, Illinois.

James was born on November 11, 1968, in Oak Lawn, Illinois, to Mary (nee Magsamen) and Donald Adams. After serving four years in the United States Army as a paratrooper, James dedicated his life to veterinary services, practicing in both Chicago and Gurnee, Illinois.

He is survived by his sister Julie (Ralph) Frank; niece Gwenevere Frank; nephew Collin Frank; his parents Mary and Donald Adams; aunts Louise (Don) Haight and Mabel Ashline; and uncle Frank Magsamen. James was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023, from 4-6 p.m. at Lazarczyk Family Funeral Home in Lake Geneva (515 Center St.) with a second visitation to be held on Monday, December 4, 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva (130 W. Main Street, Lake Geneva). Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m. with Fr. Joseph Malczyk, C.R. officiating. Interment to follow at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Cemetery.
