James Jon Gustafson

James Jon Gustafson, 72 years old of Lake Geneva, WI passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025. He was born March 10, 1953 to the late Arnold and Mabel (Gilbert) Gustafson in Denver, CO. He loved life and lived each day with a kind, grateful heart. Jimmy loved fiercely and enjoyed being a loyal friend and brother to all. He was selfless, generous, and willing to share whatever he had. Any time spent with family was the best time, especially when it came to barbecues and card games. Jimmy loved to travel, especially to Florida and warm destinations - sadly, he was hoping to take one more trip. Jimmy enjoyed getting lost in a good book, taking in what nature had to offer, and sharing his unforgettable laugh. Throughout his life, he had the worst luck with cars and anyone who knew him could share a laugh about it. Jimmy was extremely knowledgeable about antiques and collectibles and enjoyed sharing information with his loved ones. He worked in the hospitality industry and was a manager, bartender, and an extraordinary waiter. In addition, he owned a business with his sister. The world is less bright with the loss of our beloved Jimmy.

Survivors include, his siblings, Randy (Marilyn) Gustafson, Jeff (Dawn Richardson) Gustafson, Sheryl (Gary) Lemke, and Debra (Rimas) Polikaitis; nieces and nephews, Ken Heisz, Brian Gustafson, Dustin Gustafson, Rebecca Gustafson, and Don Brown; and sister-in-law, Patty Anne Gustafson. Along with his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard and Terry Gustafson.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Jimmy will be laid to rest in East Delavan Union Cemetery in Delavan, WI. For more information, please call (262)-248-2320.
