James E. Todd Sr.

James Everritte Todd, Sr. 83, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Artisan in Lake Geneva with his daughter by his side. He was born June 9, 1935. He was employed for 15 years at Union Special in Huntley, IL followed by Brunk Industries and 15 years with Brellentin/Ted Horton as a Chevrolet Certified Journeyman in engine repair in Lake Geneva. He loved his Chevys! He liked watching baseball, WWE Wrestling, old westerns and Chuck Norris movies. He also like to play Skip-Bo with his family and friends. James is survived by his children James (Linda) Todd, Jr. of Woodstock, IL, Chuck Todd (Fianc Kimberly Smolley) of Woodlawn, IL and Carole Rice of Lake Geneva, WI. He is also survived by sisters Leea Hunt of Woodstock, IL, Kathy (Alex) Brock of Corbin, KY, 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, long-time friends Margie Petrie, Charles Petrie, Mark (Gretchen) Kitzman and Candy Cocroft. James is preceded in death by his parents Dorothy Manley Todd and Everritte E. Todd, brothers Jerry and Richard Todd, sister Donna Luepkes, great-granddaughters Angelika Lilly and Novalee Barker and his partner of 40 years Shirley Kitzman. A graveside service will be held 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Geneva. A special thanks goes to the wonderful care he received at the Artisan, from Agrace Hospice and from Our House in Whitewater.
