Jeffrey Scott Barry

Jeffrey Scott Barry, 70 years old of Lake Geneva, WI stepped into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 21, 2026. He was born December 13, 1955 to the late James and Mary (Clarke) Barry in St. Charles, IL. On November 30, 1991, Jeff was united in marriage with Carla Bethke in Lake Geneva, WI. He worked for the City of St. Charles for many years before creating his own remodeling business and eventually settled down as a transport driver for VIP Services in Elkhorn, WI. Jeff was a lifelong drummer with a deep love for music, a die-hard Chicago sports fan (especially his Bears), and a jack of all trades. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and being at the cabin - all while being surrounded by family. He was a loving husband, a proud father, and adoring grandfather.

Survivors include, his wife of 34 years, Carla; sons, Thomas (Samantha), Brandon, and Jordan Barry; grandchildren, Isla, Jack, and Mason Barry; sisters, Jill Barry and Julie (Tom) Sutherland; and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his brother, Jay (Julie) Barry.

Services for Jeff will be held privately and he will be laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Geneva, WI. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital or to Aurora at Home Hospice.
