Joan Ruth Militello

Joan Ruth Militello, 82 of Westshire Farms, Delavan Lake died at Holton Manor Nursing Home on Monday, Feb. 1, 2016. Joan was born May 4, 1933 in Maywood, Illinois the daughter of Walter F. Schweiger and Minnie Behrens. She married Philip Militello who died in 1987. Joan was a Medical Transcriber at Hines Veterans Hospital in the Pathology Dept. She is survived by one son, Robert (Martha) of Williams Bay and 2 grandchildren, Stephanie and Eric. Also 5 great grandchildren, Desiree, Sebastian, Armon, Isabella and Camilla. She was also survived by her former daughter-in-law Barbara. Betzer Funeral Home is serving the Militello Family. . She was predeceased by her husband Philip and a brother, Walter. A family gathering will be held from 11am to 1:30pm on Monday , Feb. 15, 2016 at Westshire Farms Community Room. A light lunch will be served.
