Joan Mosby

With a heavy heart we share that Joan K. Mosby peacefully passed on March 24th, 2022 at Geneva Lake Manor of Lake Geneva surrounded by her grandchildren and daughter. Joan was a long time resident of Williams Bay, where she raised her 5 children and spent her retirement involved in Sons of Norway, attending Williams Bay Lutheran Church, and loved by her family. She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything. She joins her sister Irene, brother Allen, her 4 other children who passed ahead of her, Gregg, Linda, Robert, and Michael, along with her parents, grandparents and many others. She is survived by her daughter Susan, and grandchildren, Lauren, Paige, Robb, Paul, Andy, Madison, along with many other great grandchildren. She had dementia but was her stubborn, sassy, yet sweet self until the end. She made many friends and touched those at Geneva Lake Manner, where she passed. A very sweet resident, David, who was friends with her read the family a poem minutes after her passing, and many staff and residents lined up while Joan left for the final time. They played "I Got You Babe" by Sonny and Cher, since she loved to sing that in karaoke. Our sweet, beautiful Grandma Joan… we will miss you dearly but will always share how much you loved us and our children so dearly. We are so happy you are in peace and no longer suffering. Our hearts are heavy, but so blessed to have had such a special and strong relationship with you. Your heart only breaks when there has been true love. Private services are pending at this time.
