Joan R. Palmbach, 80, of Lyons, WI passed to eternal life at Aurora St. Luke Medical Center Milwaukee, WI. on Monday October 9, 2017. Joan was born May 14, 1937 in Illinois to the late Clyde and Florence (Dollman) Castleman. She was united in marriage to Melvin E. Palmbach October 30, 1954 in Lake Geneva, WI Joan was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Pell Lake, WI. She worked as an assembler at Trostels. Loving mother of Tamara (David) Hawley, Sheri Kollatz, and Wendy (Michael) Brady. Loving grandmother to Abigail (Jeremy) Hancock, Jacob (Desiree) Hawley, Ryan and Rhiannon Kohloff, Dustin (Raegan) and Cassondra (Fiance Casey Dorrington) Kollatz and Michael Remer. Loving Great-grandmother to Owen and Bennett Hancock, Adelaide and Ryker Hawley. Sister of Carol Freeman and Sister-In-Law of Louise Basso, Marge Palmbach, Judy Castleman. Joan is preceeded in death by her Husband, parents, and one son Richard. Service will be held at 2:00p.m. Saturday October 14, 2017 at the Steinke-Lazarczyk Funeral Home Lake Geneva, WI with Pastor Bob Kamps officiating. Interment East Delavan Union Cemetery.
