John Thiel

It is with great sadness to announce that John Thiel 53, of Lake Geneva passed away peacefully on February 12, 2019 at the Burlington Memorial Hospital. Johnny was born to Lothar and Christa Thiel on May 16, 1965 in Chicago. Johnny moved to Lake Geneva in 1988. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and his NASCAR racing. He is survived by his loving mother Christa, brothers Werner (Tina) and Ed (Peggy). Johnny was also the caring uncle to Megan (Joe), Sarah (Collin), Rachel (Sean) and Ryan. He was also great uncle to Damien, Adriana, Freddie, Draya, Mae and Emmylou. Johnny is preceded in death by his father Lothar.
