Joseph Dustin Leineberg

Joseph Dustin Leineberg, 51, of Lake Geneva, WI passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023, in the comfort of his home. He spent many years resiliently battling various medical ailments but is now resting peacefully. Joe was born on April 16, 1972, in Quincy, IL. He was the son of Gerald C. Leineberg and the late Sue Ellen (McClure). He was raised in LaVerne, CA, and moved to Hawthorn Woods, IL in 1988. He shared 25 loving years with his wife Staci B. Feinberg. Together they have two daughters Andi and Graci. He was the #1 dad and husband who lived for his "i-Girls." Joe proudly attended Loras College in Dubuque, IA (class of 1994), where he was an accomplished member of the Loras Duhawk football program. He continued to share his love and passion for football as a coach, mentor, and proud cheerleading dad. He was a successful and innovative business owner of Superior Felt and Filtration, where Joe was very well-loved and valued. Additionally, he was able to explore his passion and artistic side by founding Gatorbags LLC., where he personally designed and created exotic handbags and accessories for both men and women. Joe was enthusiastic and proud to share the creative traits that he inherited from his late mother whom he is now reunited with. Joe is also survived by his father Gerald Leineberg (partner Rosemary Langlitz); siblings Jason Leineberg and Amanda Leineberg; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Sue Ellen Leineberg. Joe was a one-of-a-kind and loving husband, father, son, brother, friend, and philanthropist. His Loras College and Geneva National families will forever be touched by his generosity, kindness, and compassion. He lived by these words from artist Bob Ross "We don't make mistakes, just happy little accidents." The world will be a less colorful place without Joe. -Final Final- A celebration of Joe's life will be held at a later date.
