Joyce A. Swanson, 76, Delavan, WI formerly of Lake Geneva, WI died Tuesday May 6, 2014 at the Mercy Walworth Medical Center, Lake Geneva, WI. Joyce was born Aug. 11, 1937 in Burlington, WI the daughter of Everett and Verna Schmiekel Lindberg. United in marriage to Carl Swanson January 17, 1981 in Lake Geneva, WI and he preceded her in death February 21, 1999. Joyce was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Lake Geneva and was employed for serveral years at Melgas Boat Mfg. Co, Zenda, WI before retirement. Surviving are two brothers, Richard Lindberg, Delavan, WI and Thomas Bronson, Merrill, WI and a step-daughter Carie (Greg) Sparks, Madison, WI. Preceded in death by her parents and a brother Ronald Lindberg. Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday May 13, 2014 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Karl Schultz officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at church.
