Joyce Anne Weyrauch

Joyce Anne Weyrauch (nee Krohn), age 86 years, resident of Burlington, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024.

Joyce was born on October 24, 1937, in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Daughter to the late Ellsworth and Vera (nee Hudson) Krohn. She was united in marriage to Wayne W. Weyrauch on May 11, 1957 at Park Row Church in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne W. Weyrauch; children Wendolyn (Gary) Schumacher and Debra Weyrauch; grandchildren Chad A. (Nicole) Weyrauch, Jill (Tony) Hernandez, Julie (Max Ramirez) Schumacher, Gregory (Kristin) Schumacher, Justin (Ashley) Nagel, Michelle Nagel, Katie Nagel, and Elizabeth Schumacher; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; siblings Jackie Mellien, Dude (Amy) Krohn, Diane Jahns, and Ricky (Cheryl) Krohn; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Ellsworth and Vera Krohn; sisters Carol, Sally, and Candace; and daughter Valarie Nagel.

Joyce was a loving wife, mother, granny, and friend to all. She spent time as both a factory worker and homemaker. A fervent writer, Joyce loved reading and journaling, leaving behind many notebooks for her family. She enjoyed any and all family functions and spending time with her loved ones. In her early years, she traveled a lot with her husband Wayne. The couple enjoyed scenic drives together in the fall, admiring the changing foliage. She will be dearly missed by many.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Lazarczyk Family Funeral Homes (515 Center Street, Lake Geneva, WI 53147), from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 and followed by a luncheon.
