udith Josephine Huemann March 19, 1938-October 30, 2015 Judy (DeCicco) Huemann, age 77, passed away October 30, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 19, 1938 in Chicago, IL. She spent much of her life residing in the McHenry County area before moving to her home in Lake Geneva, WI where she lived a full and independent life until her passing. She graduated from nursing school and became an R.N. in May of 1982. She put her skills to use as an emergency room and trauma nurse specialist at NIMC, Flight Nurse for Flight for Life, Death investigator for McHenry County Coroner, Charge Nurse at Mercy Walworth Medical Center in Williams Bay, WI and instructor for the Gateway Technical College CNA program. In her later years, and until her Retirement, she became an integral part of her son's business T. Huemann Well & Pump, Inc. that was located close to her home. Judy had a passion for helping people and put her nursing skills to use on mission trips to Honduras and to New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and more recently as a regular volunteer nurse at Open Arms Clinic, a free medical clinic located in Elkhorn, WI. Judy loved the diversity of the world and engaged in a full life of travel with her children which allowed her to see many states within the U.S. as well as countries like France, Russia, Germany and of course her beloved Italy (where she truly felt at home). Judy loved reading (for pleasure and knowledge) and participated in many book clubs and bible studies. She was a woman of strong faith and loved her church, Immanuel Lutheran. Outside of Jesus, her greatest love and pride was for her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her 5 children (and their spouses) Billy Huemann, Tony (Brenda) Huemann, Jay (Susan) Huemann, Todd (Erin) Huemann, & Emily (Chuck) Brody, and a brother, Benjamin (Alison) DeCicco. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren: Brooke, Nicholas, Anthony J, Laura, Marcus, Anna, Emily, Elliot, Morgan Huemann, and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony V. DeCicco, her brother, Tony DeCicco, and her grandparents, Benjamin & Emily DeCicco. A celebration of her life will take place: November 14, 2015, 2-6 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church 700 N Bloomfield Rd, Lake Geneva, WI 53147 Open House 2-4, Memorial Service at 4, Dinner at 5.
