Kate L. Erickson

Kate Louise Erickson age 101 yrs, and a lifelong resident of Lake Geneva, WI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center. Kate was born on September 28, 1919 in Altona, IL daughter to the late Rex H. and Laura E. (Walgren) Keeler. When Kate was born, the airplane and automobile were brand new machines of the time. Most people were carried about by horse and buggy. She married Harold G. Erickson on May 16, 1942 in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death on September 11, 2004. Kate lived through the Great Depression, two World Wars and Women's Suffrage. She was the loving mother of Debra (Charles) Skilling, Douglas (Mary Beth) Erikson and Candice (Patrick) Rosko; grandchildren Ken, Andy, Jason and Ian, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Kate is preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter Candice Rosko and great-grandson, Cody. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at the funeral home (515 Center Street, Lake Geneva) from 10-11:30am. A funeral service will be held at 11:30am with Fr. Ray Guthrie officiating. *Family asks if masks could be worn.* Entombment will follow at the Roselawn Memory Gardens.
