Kathi Jo Stebnitz

Kathi Jo Stebnitz (nee Lamb), age 61, of Delavan, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Ridgestone Village in Delavan. Kathi was born on May 27, 1961, in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, to the late Barbara (Schwab) and Robert Lamb. She is survived by her children Nichole (Jorge) Salazar, Matthew Wobig, Joshua (Amy) Stebnitz, and Molly Stebnitz; grandchildren Erica, Lucas, Brooklyn, Jameson, Aubrey, and Austin; siblings Janet, Jennie (Richard), Judy, Jayne (Keith), Tom (Billie), Patti (Mike), Eddie; as well as lots of nieces, nephews, and many, many friends. Kathi was the best grandma in the whole world! Some of her grandkid's favorite memories include making pancakes with the pancake lady, taking walks by the creek, and reading books such as "I Love Mud and Mud Loves Me", "How Does a Dinosaur Say Goodnight", and "The Best Loved Doll". In addition to her family, Kathi loved music and dancing! You could oftentimes find her dancing at The Bandshell doing "The Twist". She loved to travel and took many road trips with her girlfriends in her red convertible. Kathi spent 14 years as the secretary of Delavan Christian School and, in her words, ran that place. She was an active member of her church, taking part in Bible Study Groups and volunteer committees. She specifically loved co-leading and mentoring the women in her Single Moms Group. Although her time was short, Kathi's life was incredibly full. She will be missed by many. Kathi is reunited in heaven with nieces, nephews, and other family members whom she loved dearly. A visitation will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Lakeland Community Church (N3181 State Road 67, Lake Geneva, WI 53147) with service to follow at 1:30 p.m., officiated by Pastor Chuck Cervanka. Refreshments will be served during visitation for all to enjoy. Interment at East Delavan Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Delavan Christian School in Kathi's name.
