Larry Mitchell James

Larry James Sr, 71 of Tomah Wisconsin passed away from cancer peacefully on Friday April 8th 2016 at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in Lacrosse Wisconsin surrounded by his loving family he was borned in Alabama on April 1st 1945 to Jewel James and Clarice Watson James he had one sibling brother Watson Burns James (Patricia) which also passed away from cancer in 2004.Larry lived most of his life and Delavan Wisconsin. Larry was a handsome passionate man who enjoyed Casino, Automotive, driving truck, cracking jokes, fixing things, fishing, hunting, cooking big meals for family at holidays,wrote songs to sing to kids in earlier years and taking care of wife and family. Larry was extremely loving caring and proud of his family survived by wife Dolly-Antoinette James of 53 years son Larry James jr. Daughters Tammy James-Elliott, Kathy James, Diana-Dede James ( Michael Cornellier) and Tina passed away in 1994. 17 grandchildren Ashley (Barry Jakel),Brittany(Virgil Pettibone), Justin James Keller, Jacob James Potter,Joshua James, Heather James, Christopher Ward, Ronyale Ward, Tamara James, Jessica Cornellier (Mike Heeter), Krystalynn(Ryan Desmond) Lawrence Cornellier(Stephanie), Samantha James Tabitha Whipple, Tina James, Larry James 3rd, and Jesse James. 17 great-grandchildren Max,Landon, Lyla, Dakota, Peggy Sue,Slias,Coltin, Riot, Brexa,Renegade, Audrianna, Tristan,Malakhi,Brooklynn, Joseph Jr,Olivia and baby girl. Thank you for being our dad and being there for us.He would give anybody his shirt off his back. Visitations will be Wednesday April 13th 2016 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Betzer funeral home 118 South 2nd Street Delavan Wisconsin. Funeral at St. Andrew's Church 714 East Walworth Avenue Delavan Wisconsin on Thursday April 14th 2016 at 11 a.m. laid to rest at st. Andrew's Cemetery.
