Lawrence Leland 'Swede' Boss

Lawrence "Swede" Leland Boss, 81, died at his home of natural causes on Wednesday, July 29,2015. Larry was born March 15, 1934 on the Family Farm on Plank Road near Elkhorn,Wisconsin the son of Fred Boss and Lucille Mayhew. He married June Raatz June 22, 1962 in Illinois. Larry served in the US. Army during WW 2. He was an assembler at AJay Industries for many years. He was a longtime and active member of the Delavan Township Fire and Rescue Dept;s Swede, as he was affectionately called, was active in Delavan Twsp. and community affairs. He is survived by his wife, June. 3 sons, LeRoy (Renee) Boss of Burlington, Lynn Boss of Delavan, Lyle (Stephani ) Boss of Elkhorn. 2 daughters, Joyce (Robert) Fish, Walworth and Donna Papcke Delavan. 3 brothers, Richard (Sandy) Boss of Delavan, Marvin (Jeanette) Boss of Delavan, Kenny (Sandy) Boss of Burlington. 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. 1 dau. Judy is predecased and 6 brothers predeceased, Glenn, Clarence, Milton, Donald, Jim and Eugene. Visitation is 2 to 5pm Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the Betzer Funeral Home.
