Lawrence R. Norem, 87, Lake Geneva, WI died Thursday August 6, 2015 at his residence. Lawrence was born January 14, 1928 in Bingham Lake, Minnesota the son of Henry and Hannah Nelson Norem. United in marriage to Mary E. Lottig and she preceded him in death in 1993. United in marriage to Shirley Wallace May 29, 1999 in Dayton, OH and she preceded him in death May 6, 2009. Member of the Lake Geneva United Methodist Church, Lake Geneva, Masonic Lodge #44 F&AM, and the Country Gentleman Club. Surviving are his sons, Brian Norem, Phoenix, AZ, Steve Norem, Lake Geneva, WI, and Jeff (Wendy) Norem, Waukesha, WI. 6 grandchildren, Brandon, Harrison, Jennelle, Jeremy, Tyler, and Mackenzie, and 1 brother, William (Lorraine) Norem, Elkhorn, WI. Preceded in death by his parents, 1 daughter, 2 sisters, Twila Norem, and Dorothy Reeves, 3 brothers, Donald, Henry, and Thomas Norem. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday August 8, 2015 at the Steinke Funeral Home, Lake Geneva, WI. with Pastor Bob Kamps from the Como Community Church officiating. Burial will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lake Geneva, WI. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. to time of services at the funeral home.
