Leslie Fred ""Les"" Allen

Leslie F. "Les" Allen, 75 yrs of Darien, WI. Passed to eternal life on Monday, April 17, 2023 at his residence. Les was born on September 27, 1947 in Harvard, IL to Delta and Helen (Risberg) Allen. He married Renae E. Bouhl on February 7, 1976 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva, WI. Les retired from Sta-rite/Pentair after 34yrs. Graduated from Delavan-Darien Highschool in 1967 and proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Bronze Star for his heroic service. Les served as a Past State Vice Commander of the Wisconsin American Legion and member of the Darien American Legion #450. Les is survived by his loving wife Renae, daughters Sherri (Tom) Curzi and Shelli Allen, grandchildren Emma Joy Allen, Lilly Anne and Rose Marie Curzi, siblings Gladys Smith, Roger (Bev) Allen, Margaret Klade, John (Diana) Allen and Claudia (Ken) Ostrum. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. Visitation will be at the Lazarczyk Family Funeral Home-Delavan Chapel (118 South 2nd Street, Delavan, WI) on Thursday, April 20th from 4-7 pm and on Friday, April 21st from 10-11am with funeral service at 11am with Pastor Bob Kamps officiating.
