Lillian Anne Magnus

Lillian A. Magnus (Selig) 92 of Delavan died on February 17, 2016 at Our House Senior Living in Janesville, WI. She was born January 23, 1924 in Brooklyn New York to the late Harry C and Lillian (Felton) Selig and step - daughter to the late Mabel Selig. She married Robert E. Magnus on May 17, 1947 in Elmwood Park, IL. For forty years Lillian was an active member of Westwood Lutheran Church and many other civic organizations in Elmwood Park, Illinois and volunteering at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital. Lillian and Bob retired to Delavan, WI in 1989 where she was active member of the Delavan United Methodist Church, the Walworth County Historical Society, and volunteered at Old World Wisconsin, She enjoyed cruising with the travel group from the Latamier House and house sitting at the Allyn Mansion. Survivors include a daughter Judi Magnus (Robert Kempe) of Janesville and a son Keith (Kathy) Magnus of Belvidere, IL. Grandchildren Robert (Sarah) Boyle of Largo, FL, Luke (Jennifer) Boyle of Janesville, Ryan Magnus of Fort Collins, CO, and Natalie Magnus of Moscow, ID. Great Grandchildren Cadence, Colin and Owen Boyle. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert and sisters Eleanor and Joanne and brothers Harry and Ken Lillians Memorial gathering will be from 10 to 11am. Saturday, Feb. 27th at the Delavan United Church, services will be at 11am also at the church followed by a funeral luncheon. Betzer Funeral Home is serving the Magnus Family.
