Lloyd Ralph Schmidt

Lloyd Ralph Schmidt, 82, of 402 S. Second St. Delavan died peacefully at his home on Feb. 19,2014 Lloyd was born January 13, 1932 in Fulton, South Dakota the son of Robert Schmidt and Elizabeth Groehler. Lloyd served in the Army National Guard. He Married Betty Binger, June 5, 1954 in Watertown,Wis. Lloyd was co owner and operator of Schmidt Auto Parts in downtown Delavan for many years. He was a member and past president of Delavan Lions Club. He was a member of Janesville/Beloit Kennel Club and Elkhorn Kennel Club. He is survived by his wife, Betty. 2 sons, Scott (Ellen) Schmidt of Portage,WI and Rand (Sue) Schmidt of Johnburg, IL. 2 daughters, Chery Yanke of Arkansas and Katie Crowley of Texas. 9 Grandchildren. A gathering with the Schmidt Family will be from 2 to 4pm Sunday, March 2, 2014 at the Betzer Funeral Home in Delavan. Immediately following the gathering the family will ajourn to the Am.
