Lois L Skelley

Lois Lorraine Skelley (Clausen) was born on September 14, 1933, in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. She passed away peacefully at her home in Lawrenceville, Georgia, on Saturday, July 18, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Lois was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose greatest joy in life was her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion that will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.

She is survived by her loving sister, Carolee Olson; her sister-in-law, Joyce Clausen; and her nine children: Mike (Dawn) Skelley, Paul (Diane) Skelley, Rick Skelley, Patricia (Joel) Craig, David (Virginia) Skelley, Larry (Laura) Skelley, Christine Lindeke, Kevin (Sachi) Skelley, and Vince Skelley.

Lois was the proud grandmother of 24 grandchildren and cherished great-grandmother of 16 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to her life. She treasured every family gathering, celebration, and quiet moment spent with those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her ex-spouse, David W. Skelley; her daughter-in-law, Barb Skelley; her parents, Elmer and Lila Clausen; and her siblings, Bernelda (Leland) Stohr, Marvin Clausen, Donabelle (Ralph) Lottig, Fred (Richard Jansen) Clausen, Eileen (Robert) Shepstone, and Dick Olson.

Lois was cherished and will be missed by all.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered their love, prayers, and support during this difficult time.

Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until the time of service at 11:00AM Saturday, August 8, 2026 at First Lutheran Church 1101 Logan St. Lake Geneva, WI 53147. Interment to follow in Oak Hill Cemetery Lake Geneva, WI. For additional information, please call (262)-248-2320.
