Lorelei Rae Tenhagen

Lorelei Rae Tenhagen, 74, of Lake Geneva, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, surrounded by her girls. She was born June 18, 1952, to the late Roland and Julia (Hann) Finley in Burlington, WI.

Lorelei proudly worked at Mars Resort in Lake Geneva from 1988 until her retirement in 2022. She was a true staple at the restaurant and made an impression on countless people throughout the years. She loved seeing familiar faces, sharing a laugh, and making connections with the people who became friends along the way.

Lorelei looked forward to the things that made life special—Breakfast Club with her friends, Thursday morning breakfast dates with her Silver Club crew at the Thirsty Parrot, listening to oldies music, getting lost in a good book, and enjoying a glass of white zinfandel.

Lorelei spent the last 38 years of her life with her late husband, James Tenhagen, whom she loved dearly. James preceded her in death on March 25, 2026. Their life together was filled with love, family, friendship, and countless memories that Lorelei carried with her until the end.

Above all else, Lorelei loved her family. She adored her children and was a proud and loving grandmother. She had many grandchildren, and each one held a very special place in her heart. She loved them all dearly and treasured the time she spent with them. Her grandchildren brought her tremendous happiness, and she cherished every hug, every laugh, and every memory they made together.

Lorelei lived a life filled with family, friendship, laughter, and love. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her memory will live on through the many lives she touched and, most especially, through her children and grandchildren.
