Lyle L. Vorpagel, 95, Springfield, WI died Monday March 9, 2015 at the Lakeland Healthcare Center, Elkhorn. Lyle was born July 14, 1919 in Springfield, WI the son of Julius and Anna Brown Vorpagel. United in marriage to Anita Neiman March 12, 1949 in Lake Geneva, WI. and she preceded him in death Nov. 13, 2012. Member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Burlington. Surviving are his daughters, Janet (Greg) Kraft, Elkhorn, WI, Corrine Buelter, Hurst,TX, son, Bruce (Margaret) Vorpagel, Cottage Grove, MN, and 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents,2 sisters, Ruth and Ethel, 3 brothers, Herbert, Earl, and Clarence, 2 sons, Thomas and Marvin, and 1 daughter Marie. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M Saturday March 14, 2015 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Burlington, WI with Pastor Robert W. Bolling officiating. Burial will be held at Hudson Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. to Service time at the church. Memorial may be made in Lyle's name to DaVita Dialysis Center, 8800 E Point Douglas Rd.
