Mailyn Faye Pavlak

Marilyn Faye Pavlak August 4th, 1930 - January 19th, 2021 It is with profound sadness but with the joy of life eternal that we announce the passing of Marilyn Faye (Brown - Hartman) Pavlak our loving and devoted mother. She left us while sleeping peacefully after receiving the sacrament of anointing of the sick and sharing last moments with her daughter Victoria. Born in Freeport, Illinois and residing in Rockford for most of her life, she lived a rich, full life of raising a family, working, hobbies and faith. She was known for her off beat sense of humor and love of reading. Marilyn was preceded in death by her first husband Jack Hartman and by her husband Edward Pavlak. She was the beloved mother of Gregory F. Hartman, Matthew V. Hartman, Jeffery E. Hartman, Mary H. Galan, Leo J. Hartman, Dawn C. Adams and Victoria L. Voyles. She leaves behind seventeen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements to be announced spring 2021.
