Marguerite Mary Clancy

Marguerite Mary Clancy, 92, longtime Delavan Lake and currently of Elkhorn died at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center, Elkhorn, WI on Sunday, April 6, 2014. Marguerite was born May 11, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Joseph A. Schrimpl and Angela M. Lavin. She married John J. Clancy Oct. 23, 1948 in Chicago. John predeceased her in 2011. Marguerite was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, A Woman of the Moose, The Elks Lodge of Delavan, the Romeoville Fire Dept. Auxiliary, an active member of the Clown Hall of Fame and a volunteer at Lakeland Health Care Center. Marguerite is survived by 2 sons, Patrick of Elkhorn, Sean (Cindy) Clancy of Oxford, Ct and 2 daughters, Elizabeth (John) Erickson of Romeoville, IL and Mary (John) Oliveri of Ruckersville, Virginia. 5 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, 1 brother and 1 sister. A Memorial Gathering will take place at the Betzer Funeral Home on Sunday, April 13, 2014. Her daughter, Elizabeth will lead in a service of remembrance at 4pm. Betzer Funeral Home is serving the Clancy Family. Memorials to the family or to a charity of your choice is appreciated.
