Maria Lynn Schroeter, 61 years young, resident of Walworth County, passed from this life to her eternal home on September 3rd, 2026.
Maria was many things to many people: mother, sister, friend, a kind face and a big smile. Oldest of three sisters, she played the role of oldest sister well and loved her sisters fiercely with an unbreakable bond. Maria has five children with Tom Loomer; she raised her kids to have servants’ hearts, look for the need and fill it, love God, and love others.
Throughout her life, Maria loved music. In high school she would participate in choir and the yearly musical. She went on to share that love within her household. There are memories of Maria singing at coffee house, in a quartet with Tom, Mike and Colleen, singing with her church choir, and even doing a local play with her children at Chapel on the Hill. There was constantly music present and with it, joy.
Maria was also a grandmother. She loved her grandkids with such enthusiasm. Any day with Grandma Ria was a good day. She was at every piano recital, every birthday, and never missed a play, whether it was in a living room or on a stage.
Maria will be missed more than words could say, but she is renewed and reunited with her heavenly father, singing a joyful song.
Maria is survived by her five children, Cassondra Fuehrer (Benjamin Fuehrer), Annalee Loomer (Andrew Brown), Megan Yost (Seth Yost), Nathanael Loomer (Emily Loomer), Natalie Wipperfurth (Pike Wipperfurth). Grandchildren, Madeline Fuehrer, Elijah Fuehrer, Molly Fuehrer, Maysen Fuehrer, Elsie Fuehrer, Daniel Yost, Walker Yost, Callie Loomer, Elliot Loomer, Theo Loomer, Holden Loomer. Sister, Diana Plotky. Father, Peter Schroeter. She is preceded in death by her mother, Toni Schroeter, and her sister, Jamie Whitcher.
