Mary Kathryn Atkinson

Mary K. Atkinson, 91, longtime Delavan resident and currently of Texas died there after a long battle with Dementia. She went to live in Texas to be close to her daughter Denise and son in law Mike Duesterbeck. Marry was born July 20, 1928 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin the daughter of Peter and Ina Zei. She married Eugene Atkinson in Stevens Point, Wi . He predeceased her DEC. 17, 2014. She was an active member of St. Andrews Catholic Church Mary worked at O'Donnell Pharmacy for many years, also Schmalings Floral Designs at Piggly Wiggly. She and her husband Gene will be remember for their outstanding Dancing ability. Mary was also a keggler and and outstanding bowler. . She is survived by one son, David Atkinson of El Paso, Texas.a son in law, Mike Duesterbeck ofKyle, Texas and a grandson Paul Duesterbeck of Tyler , Texas and Brothers Jack of Wausau and Paul (Arlene) Zei of LaCrosse. She was predeceased by her husband, Gene, 2 daughters, Paula, and Dinese. A sister, Florencce. .Graveside services in St. Andrews Cametery will be announced upon arrival of her Ashes.
