Boehnlein, Mary Ann (Nee Werner)

Born to life on May 26, 1945, daughter of the late Frank and Laura (Bukowski) Werner. Born to Eternal Life, entering God’s loving arms on October 11, 2024.

Beloved and devoted wife of the late Barry B. Boehnlein for nearly 41 years. Left to cherish their mother’s memory are Theresa A (Todd) Kearby, Timothy W (Vickie) and Joseph S. Boehnlein. Mary was the grandmother of five amazing and treasured grandchildren, Andreas, Kira, Reilyn, Olive, and Jasper. She is further survived by many relatives and friends and her fur kids, Dolly and Onyx.

Mary graduated from Custer High School in 1963. She returned to school in January 1978 following the birth of her third child. She enrolled in a sociology class at UW Waukesha. With that, Mary had two goals; the first was to get into law school; the second was to get out. Along the way she became a member of the Marquette Law Review. Mary graduated from Marquette University Las school in May 1988 with a Juris Doctor degree. She went on to specialize in the area of family law. After practicing for 24 years, Mary retired to read, garden, and spend time with her cherished husband and two dogs.

Private family services will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI on November 7th at 11 AM where Mary will join her husband.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
