Mary A. Gorr

Mary A. Gorr, 97, of Lake Geneva, WI. passed to eternal life at Geneva Manor on Wednesday August 16, 2017. Mary was born May 16, 1920 in Chicago, IL. to the late Christ and Mary (Koehler) Altergott. Mary was united in marriage to Henry Gorr in 1987 in Chicago, IL. Mary was a long-time member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lake Geneva, WI. She worked at many different businesses in the Lake Geneva and Chicago area. Mary also patented the nail polish remover pad. Loving Sister-In-Law to Eleanor (Frank) Steinke, and Alex (Lovee) Gorr. Aunt of Joseph (Ann) Kehrer. Mary was proceeded in death by her parents Christ and Mary Altergott, sister Rose Kehrer, and brother Christ Altergott. Service will be held Tuesday August 22, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church Lake Geneva, WI with Pastor Karl Schultz officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to time of service. Burial will take place on Wednesday August 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Luke Cemetery (5300 N. Pulaski Rd., Chicago, IL. 60630).
