Mary Johanne Leaf

Mary Johanne Leaf (nee Miller), 71 years of age and resident of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, passed away on January 8, 2025.

Mary was born on August 2, 1953, in Racine, Wisconsin, to the late William and Helen (nee Heffel) Miller. She was united in marriage to the late Richard Leroy Leaf on May 5, 1984, in Racine, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on July 30, 2021.

Mary loved life and being busy. No matter what she found enjoyment with family and friends. From cheering on her grandson John at Football and Lacrosse games, to casino trips and girls’ weekends in the Dells, gardening and searching for awesome outfits at thrift stores. She loved visiting Galena, IL and browsing all the shops. Mary was full of life and always ready to go on adventures. Although she battled cancer twice in her life - She always found a way to make the very best of everything. Her humor and sass always put a smile on your face. That light will always shine bright over all of us.

Survived by her daughter Johanne Eppler; step-daughter Lara Stolarick; grandchildren John Batovsky, Stu Stolarick, and Fiona Stolarick; brother Dennis Miller; sisters-in-law Debbie Hoppe, Jody Leaf, Butch (Willard) Leaf, and Chris Miller; nephews Aaron Miller and Greg (Amy) Miller (children Core Miller and Lilly Miller); niece Crystal (Jim) Radebaugh (children Olivia Radebaugh and Zachary Radebaugh); as well as cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

Preceded in death by her parents William and Helen Miller; loving husband Richard Leaf; brother Paul Miller, and numerous other family members and friends.
