Maurice P. Jensesn, 83, Lake Geneva, died Monday Feb. 24, 2014 at his residence. Maurice was born Nov. 13, 1930 in Chicago, IL the son of Peter & Amelia Nielsen Jensen. United in marriage to Catherine M. Tyznik Oct. 6,1956 in Chicago, IL. Member of the St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church and the American Legion Frank Kresen Post #24, Lake Geneva. Served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Surviving are his wife, Catherine, Lake Geneva, WI, daughters, Deborah Jensen, Lake Geneva, WI, Karen (John) Kotlarik, Green Bay, WI, Maureen (David) Vidas, Lake In The Hills, IL, and Brenda (Thomas) Reese, Alden, IL, sons, John (Linda) Jensen, Homer Glen, IL, and Alan (Sherry) Jensen, Gilbert, AZ, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, and 1 brother Gunnar Jensen. Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11:00 A.M. Thursday Feb. 27, 2014 at the St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, Lake Geneva with Fr. James Schuerman officiating. Burial will be held at Windridge Memorial Park and Nature Sanctuary, Cary IL. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. to time of services at the church.
