Mitch and Pat were long-time members of St. Francis de Sales Parish in Lake Geneva. They volunteered at the Lake Geneva Community Meal, and distributed Holy Communion to residents of Lakeland Health Care Center for 25 years.
An avid traveler, he visited many US states and other countries. He was proud of his Scottish and Irish heritage and he and Pat visited Ireland six times.
He and Pat enjoyed listening to music and attending musical and theatre performances. They were a supportive presence at many family athletic events and concerts.
Mitch grew up playing cards and he participated in the St. Francis de Sales Bridge Marathon. He enjoyed fishing with his children and grandchildren, golfing (twice achieving a hole in one at George Williams College Camp Golf Course), making challenging jigsaw puzzles, was an avid gardener, and he was a life-long Packer fan.
A devoted husband, in later years, when Pat developed dementia, Mitch spent each day at the Lakeland Health Care Center. He was by her side every step of the way, including when she passed away on December 13, 2024. His loving care will not be forgotten.
