Nancy Rae Baker

It is with great sadness that the family of Nancy Rae Baker announce her peaceful passing on Saturday, June 7, 2025. She was born January 15, 1950 to the late Buss and Leta (LaBell) Henry in Elkhorn, WI. Nancy was raised in Lake Como and graduated from Badger High School in 1968 and went on to work for Skrudland Inc. in Lake Geneva for 16 years. She then worked for PCA in Burlington before retiring after 27 years of service. Nancy enjoyed shopping, especially when it came to all things primitive and antique. She spent much time perfecting her garden, getting lost in a good book, mastering puzzles, embroidering items for loved ones, and spoiling her precious grandchildren. Nancy was a phenomenal cook who was happiest providing a home cooked meal with her loved ones under one roof.

Nancy will be lovingly remembered by, her children, Kimberly (Kent Burkoth) Baker, Brad (Becky) Baker, Laura (Todd) Peterson, and Michael (Stephanie) Henning; grandchildren, Alexa, Kyle, Nicole, Gregory, Addilyn, Gage, Maggie, and Gatlin; great-grandson, Kayden; sister, Karen Mahoney; and bonus grandchildren, Marissa and Bianca (Alondra). Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Buss and Leta Henry.

Nancy will be laid to rest during a private graveside ceremony at Springfield Union Cemetery Burlington, WI. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to LAZARCZYK FAMILY FUNERAL HOMES OF LAKE GENEVA AND DELAVAN . For additional information, please call (262)-248-2320.
