Nicholas Schommer

Nicholas Dorwin Schommer, 69 of Darien died at his home on Friday, July 6th. Nicholas (Nick) was born in West Bend, WI the son of Marvin E Schommer and Marilyn Perkins. He married Janet Kay Maass in 1994 in Menomonee, MI. Nick was a tool die maker by professional trade. He was known for being an Avid Sportsman. He was a certified ATV instructor, a DNR Safety Instructor, and a member of the Elkhorn Repeater Club. He is survived by his mother, Marilyn, his wife Janet, 1 son; Kenneth (Kris) Schommer, and 2 daughters; Michelle (Mike) Beisbier & Angela (Doug) Cook and 1 step-son; Timothy (Kathy) Smith. He is further survived by brothers Gary, Mark, Dan, Bob, Fred, Rich & Brian Schommer and sister Mary Wild. 8 grandchildren also survive, Kayla & Kelsey Schommer, Adriane, Alena, Alivia & Adelyn Beisbier, and Dallas & Hunter Smith. He was predeceased by his father Marvin and sister Joanne. A gathering will be from 3 to 4pm at the Betzer Funeral Home in Delavan on Friday, July 13, 2018 with Deacon Phil Kilkenny presiding over a short service at 4pm.
