Norbert D. Trescher

Norbert D. Trescher, age 92yrs of Janesville, WI. Passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025 surrounded by his family at the family farm house in Bradford Township.

He born on July 12, 1932 to John and Elsie (Brux) Trescher. He married the late Carol J. Willing on October 13, 1962 at Footville Methodist Church. Norbert was born and passed away at his family farm house in Bradford Township and farmed the land for many years. He was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict and the retired as an assembly worker for General Motors in Janesville.

He survived by his daughters Cathi (Greg) Wnuk and Michelle (Rodney) Southard, grandchildren, Matthew (Jessica) Trescher, Jonathan (Carlynn) Southard, Rebecca Southard and Emily (Michael) Schroeder. Chosen family of Amy, John and Hunter Simons. Also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter Susan, Grandson Paul and Sister Dawn.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Apfel Wolfe Funeral Home (21 S Austin Rd, Janesville, WI 53548) from 10-11:30am with a service at 11:30am officiated by Cathy Manthei. Interment Clinton Cemetery.
