Patricia A. Carolan

Patricia Anna Carolan, age 78 of Lake Geneva, WI passed to eternal life at The Bay at Burlington Health and Rehabilitation Center on Thursday, April 5, 2018. Patricia was born February 5, 1940 in Elkhorn, WI the daughter of the late Bernhardt Slack and Mabel (Keifer) Slack. Patricia graduated from Elkhorn High School and married George Reuss with whom she had five sons. They later divorced, and she married the late Robert William Carolan on January 21, 1977 in Lake Geneva, WI at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church where she was a member. She worked at Geneva Gifts for 20 years and enjoyed her dog Holly, playing card games, traveling and going to casinos; but most of all her children and grandchildren. Patricia was the loving mother of George Reuss, Jr., Michael (Melissa) Reuss, William Reuss, Timothy (Linda) Reuss, Donald (Leslie) Reuss, and Robert (Stacy) Carolan. Loving grandmother of Blane Redmer, George Reuss III, Elyse Egezeino, Ryan Reuss, Brittany Reuss, Joshua Reuss, Jamie Prestosa, Erica Reuss, Adam Reuss, Douglas Reuss, Hadley Carolan, Harlow Carolan, 8 great-grandchildren and expecting twins. Loving sister of Mabel Ash, Virginia Gruenwald, and James Slack. Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Mary Slack and brother Bernhardt Slack, Jr. She was a wonderful mother to all of us and will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Visitation will be Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Steinke-Lazarczyk Funeral Home (515 Center Street, Lake Geneva) from 5 to 7 p.m. Please meet at church for a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (148 W. Main Street, Lake Geneva) with Father Sergio Lizama officiating. Burial will follow immediately at Oak Hill Cemetery.
