Patricia S Morelli

Patricia Sue Morelli, 86, of Delavan, passed away on September 29, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. Patricia "Pat" was born May 12, 1937, in Elkhorn, Wisconsin to Arnold and Ruth (Stark) Blodgett. She is preceded in death by both her parents, her sister, Joan Ortigara, and her husband William "Bill" Morelli. Pat grew up and spent most of her life in the Delavan area. She often reminisced of her childhood on Melody Ranch and of her family's ties to Hugo's on Delavan Lake. She met her husband "Bill" at an early age, and they grew up together riding the horses from the Ranch and enjoying the summers at the lake. Pat and Bill were married on November 21, 1964. They eventually built a home on the lake they loved where they raised their children, entertained their grandchildren, and opened their home to family and friends creating a special place to gather and celebrate all special occasions big or small. Pat worked for many years as a secretary, but her passion and love of life was always focused on her children. Pat could be found in the bleachers of every swim meet and volleyball game, and in the stands at every football game. More little league games, tennis matches, and football games would follow as her family grew. She loved being a grandma and never missed a chance to celebrate her grandchildren and support them in all activities. Pat was fond of her community and sought ways to support its residents. She was proud of her contributions to the Delavan Historical Society, her service as Delavan Township Treasurer and her many years of involvement with the Halloween Celebration at Delavan Township Park. Pat is survived by her four children; Gina (Doug) Twing, Sheri Morelli, Anita (Marty) Hernandez, Bill Morelli; grandchildren Robert (Jamie) Twing, Joey (Sarah) Twing, Alysha (Ryn) Botsford and Bill Morelli; great grandchildren Katie and Ashley Lohse, "Jet" Twing and Theodore Botsford.
