Papa, Peter M. Longtime resident of West Allis. Passed to Eternal Life on Saturday, May 21, 2022 age 86yrs. Devoted husband for 68 years of Bernice (nee Fochs). Loving father of Mike (Paula), Lynn (the late George) Derlein, Jeff (Kathi), Al (Megan) and the Late Terri (Roger) Ball. Proud grandpa of Christopher, Julie, Scott (Becca) Papa, Alyssa (Bill) Trudell, Steven (Becky) Derlein, Melissa (Nick) Smart, Katelyn, Chandler and Brooke Papa. Also survived by 9 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Pete retired after 44 years from Harnischfeger. Charter member of Mary Queen of Heaven Church, and was Past President of the Wisconsin Polka Boosters. Pete loved to spend time with his wife Bernice, his children and grandchildren, he loved camping, fishing, golfing, polka dancing, playing dartball and was an accomplished accordion player. Visitation will be held on June 4th, 2022 at Mother of Perpetual Help Parish (2322 South 106th Street, West Allis) from 10am until Noon with Mass of Christian Burial at Noon.
