Porfirio Benavides

Porfirio Benavides, age 82 years, resident of Milwaukee. Passed to eternal life on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Milwaukee.

He was born in Dilly, Texas on March 18, 1941 to Porfirio and Jenoviva (Salas) Benavides. He married Maria (Garcia) on March 5, 1960 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Delavan and she preceded him in death on November 30, 2010. He is survived by his son’s Porfirio, Jr and Jack (Judy) Benavides. Also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Maria and Daughter Rosie Benavides.

Visitation will be held on March 7 from 3-6 pm with Vigil service at 4 pm at Lazarczyk Family Funeral Homes of Delavan (118 South 2nd Street, Delavan, WI). Private Interment Calvary Cemetery, Racine, WI. Lazarczyk Family Funeral Homes is proudly serving the family.
