Ray E. Smith

Ray E. Smith 58 of Lake Geneva passed away at his residence on Friday, February 1, 2019. Ray was born on July 27, 1960 in Elkhorn to the late Paul and Kay (Chatfield) Smith. He was a longtime member of the Carpenter Union-161 and the Labor Union-464. He also was an avid hunter, fisherman and love being in the outdoors. Surviving are his siblings Phillip Smith, Elfreida Smith, Mary (Brian) Schoorens and Tracy Smith. Also surviving are is uncles Jim (Thelma) Chatfield and George Smith, uncle to Ray Ramirez, Samuel Smith, Rueben Ramirez, Arturo Gomez, Gabriel Mendoza, Brian D. Schoorens, Jr., Joshua Ray Schoorens other nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, sister Marguerite. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, February 11, 2019 at the Steinke-Lazarczyk Family Funeral Home (515 Center Street, Lake Geneva) with a service at 6 p.m. Pastor Bob Kamps officiating.
