Richard Stanley Nowakowski

Richard S. Nowakowski age 65, of Markesan, WI and formerly of the Milwaukee Area was called home to his heavenly Father on Monday, March 22, 2021 at the Aspirus Hospital in Wausau, WI. Rich was born on May 12, 1955 to the late Bernard S. and Ceilia M. (Zbikowski) in South Milwaukee, WI. He married Deborah J. Bray on August 27, 1977 in South Milwaukee, WI. Rich was an amazing hardworking person that was a role model for many. He was an avid and knowledgeable fisherman and hunter, he truly loved being in the outdoors. Rich was the devoted husband of Debbie Nowakowski; caring father of Heather (Glen) Kennow and Mike (Jill) Nowakowski; loving grandfather to Jensen Kennow (Nick Piteros), Hunter Kennow (Mikayla Schmidt), Gunner Kennow, Hannah Nowakowski and Jacob Nowakowski. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Richard was preceded in death by his parents. You will forever be remembered Richard; your departure has left a hole in many hearts. The world needs to rebuild and learn to smile again. At this time services are postponed for a later date.
