Richard V. Patchak, age 90 years young, resident of Delavan, Wisconsin, passed away to eternal life on Friday, September 19, 2025, at his residence. Richard was born on March 29, 1935, in Thorp, WI to the late Albert and Helen (Ciolkosz) Patchak. He married Sandra Lee Kuhn on August 10, 1973, in Chicago, Il. Richard retired after many years as an Information Systems Project Manager and Consultant. Richard loved to spend time with his family and taking his kids and grandkids fishing. He loved to tell a joke, never missed a meal of Polish food, go Polka dancing with his wife, travel with sisters-in-law, Joyce and Shirley, and playing pinnacle and hand and foot with his family and friends. Richard also loved to tend to his flowers, which was his love and joy when he wasn’t spending time with his wife or family. Richard is survived by his beloved wife Sandra, children Kevin (Paula), James (Carol), Dawn (Dan), and Kimberly (Gabriel), and sister Joann (Ted) Zimmermann. Also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sisters-in-law Loraine Patchak and Carol Patchak, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by his parents and siblings Suzanne, Charlotte, Mae, Ceil, Raymond, George, Mike, and Jack. Visitation will be held at the Lazarczyk Family Funeral Home-Lake Geneva (515 Center Street, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin) on Thursday, September 25 from 4 - 6 pm with military honors to be held at 6pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday September 26 at 1:30 pm at St. Andrew Catholic Church-Please meet directly at church (714 East Walworth Street, Delavan, Wisconsin).
